About
The Pollex Clog is Salehe Bembury's reworking of the Crocs Classic Clog. It first released on December 14, 2021, at $85. Bembury first showed it in white with black. At launch there were two colourways: a green 'Cucumber', sold through a raffle on the Crocs website, and an earthy 'Menemsha'. Bembury moulded Crocs' foam upper into his signature fingerprint pattern. Deep concave ridges wrap the whole shoe, and they also grip in several directions. Slim, elongated holes sit over the hotter parts of the foot to let air in. Translucent rubber on the outsole runs up the front and back. The footbed comes straight from the Classic Clog. You can remove and swap the adjustable nylon heel straps, so it works strapped for outdoors or strapless for everyday wear. Some pairs were very limited. A 'Spackle' colourway was kept to 200 pairs for friends and family. Later drops, among them 'Cobbler', 'Tide', 'Kuwata' and 'Sasquatch', came in 2022 at the same $85.
