The New Balance 990v3 is the third generation of the 990 running silhouette, released in 2012 to mark the model's 30th anniversary. New Balance Senior Designer Andrew Nyssen led the design, deliberately avoiding radical changes to preserve the shoe's historical significance while updating its construction.
