The Nike Air Foamposite Pro is a high-top basketball shoe that debuted in 1997, released alongside the Air Foamposite One as Nike's first shoes built with Foamposite technology, a liquid-molded polyurethane shell. It originally retailed for $170, $10 less than the One's $180. The Pro is distinguished from the One by a Swoosh on the sides and heel and the absence of the One's Penny Hardaway 1 Cent branding. It retains the same molded foam upper and carbon-fiber midfoot plate as the One, with full-length and heel Zoom Air cushioning. The shoe gained notable pop-culture visibility early on: Tim Duncan wore a Pearl Foamposite Pro at the 1998 NBA All-Star Game, and Ray Allen's character Jesus Shuttlesworth wore the Class of 97/Pearl colorway in Spike Lee's 1998 film He Got Game.
