The Air Jordan 1 Low is the low-cut edition of Peter Moore's original Air Jordan 1 High. Nike released the first low-top in September 1985 in a White/Natural Grey colourway, with a Metallic Blue low following the OG run. In the early 2000s the model returned as the "Nu' Retro" Air Jordan 1 Low, modified with an embossed Wings logo on the sides, a Jumpman on the heel, foam collar padding and an encapsulated Air unit. The 2015 Air Jordan 1 Retro Low OG brought back the original shape with Nike Air branding on the heel, tongue tag and insoles, and that Retro Low OG construction is what today's premium lows use. The Low has since become the volume seller of the Air Jordan 1 family and fits many wearers better than the High. In September 2026 Jordan Brand released the Retro Low OG "Last Dance at the Garden" (IR0088-001) at $155, honouring Michael Jordan's 42-point game at Madison Square Garden on 8 March 1998 in his "Chicago" AJ1s. It pairs white leather with red embroidered florals on black overlays, a gold-outlined Swoosh and orange-and-blue Knicks accents. In India it retails around ₹13,995.
