About
The Adidas Yeezy Boost 350 V2 first released on September 24, 2016 in the Beluga colorway — a grey-and-orange Primeknit design that became one of the most recognisable silhouettes of the decade. Designed by Kanye West in collaboration with Adidas, the V2 built on the original Boost 350 (released June 2015, Footwear News Shoe of the Year) by adding a side stripe and the SPLY-350 text running across the lateral panel. Construction centres on a Primeknit upper that wraps the foot in a single piece of knitted textile, paired with a full-length Boost midsole delivering energy return with every step. In August 2016, GQ recognised the original Boost 350 as the most influential shoe of the year. The V2 deepened that influence through a relentless run of colorway drops — Beluga, Cream White, Zebra, Oreo, Static — each commanding resale multiples of the retail price. The Adidas Yeezy partnership was terminated in October 2022. In India, authentic Yeezy V2 pairs remain highly sought after on resale, with Zebra and Cream White colorways being the most traded.
