The Adidas Handball Spezial was originally released in 1979 and built for use on handball courts. Its full suede upper allows smooth mobility across indoor surfaces, while an enhanced heel cap provides ankle protection and a specialised sole delivers court-specific traction. Professional handball players wore the shoe during World Handball Championships, cementing its performance credentials.
